User Research & Insight Mapping
Interviewed women struggling with body confidence and wardrobe stress. Synthesized insights into emotional and functional needs.
UX & Interaction Design
Mapped key flows (quizzes, photo uploads, AI suggestions). Designed intuitive paths for daily use, from inspiration to action.
UI & Creative Direction
Created an inviting interface in Figma using bold color contrasts, friendly fonts, and clear visual hierarchy. Designed iconography and style category themes.
Prototyping & Storytelling

Tested two homepage versions with real users—Version B outperformed with cleaner UI and direct AI access, proving how small changes drive big impact.

To shape Trendish, I drew inspiration from standout AI styling and fashion apps—Stylix, Aiuta, FashionAI, and Essembl—each contributing uniquely to the product’s intelligence, personality, and UX flow.
Stylix
Stylix introduced a dynamic approach to outfit discovery—where users receive looks tailored to their preferences and body type. This inspired Trendish’s interactive onboarding quiz and Daily Style Picks, helping users get curated outfits without overwhelming decisions.
Aiuta
Aiuta’s AI chat model gave me the idea to integrate a conversational stylist into Trendish. From style dilemmas to body-flattering tips, Trendish's AI assistant offers instant, personalized advice, making fashion feel approachable and empowering for all.
FashionAI
FashionAI uses AI to analyze colors and garment combinations. This directly influenced Trendish’s outfit suggestion logic and color theory integration. The app doesn't just suggest what to wear—it explains why it works for your shape, mood, or event.
Learning & Next Steps
Although Trendish isn’t live yet, this project helped me bring a bold product vision to life through an interactive, testable prototype—merging tech, emotion, and everyday fashion needs.
What I Learned
Designing for AI pushed me to simplify complex functionality without losing user control. I learned how to make AI feel like a personal stylist—supportive, not robotic—while keeping the interface clean and intuitive.
Why It Matters
Trendish bridges fashion and emotional wellness. By combining mood, goals, and style into one experience, it proves how thoughtful UX can make AI feel truly personal—not just functional.
